I have had a good number of different superautomatic machines from Jura, Delonghi, Gaggia, and Saeco (now Philips), and I can say hands down that this is the best machine I have ever used. Where to start? Coffee quality is amazing, great crema, ceramic bur grinders are very fast and very quiet, which brings us to the TWO independent hoppers and bur grinders, so that you can fill one with regular, one with decaf, or whatever you choose, and blend them in 25% increments, so if you want a half caf capuccino, you set each grinder for 50% and you are all set. Milk quality is the best I've seen, and also the hottest, and you can make TWO milk based drinks at the same time, a first for a home based machine! Only thing is the USA machines will not do Cafe Lattes, as the European machines will. I called Jura customer service, they were very nice and explained that on the 110v US system simply not enough power to do the simultaneous milk and coffee to make a "true" latte as you can on the 220v Euro machines, I am not a latte fan so I don't miss it, not sure if it would be a deal breaker for some. Setup is simple and intuitive, machine is very classy and looks great on the counter. Large water tank. Really can't say enough good things about it, yes, very pricey, but worth every penny!

Wonderful automatic coffee machine maker. I purchased four of these, unfortunately one had a defect on the coffee spout, the metal fell apart. The machine is well designed and contains quality parts. One main concern when people buy coffee machine is the cleansing. The cleaning of this machine is pretty easy, many parts of the machine is designed to be taken apart with minimal effort. As for internal cleaning such as the tubes and milk/coffee spouts, the machine has a rinse program which allows the machine to wash itself. You do however need to empty the water tray and coffee bean bin after everything is done. I've tried many different coffee beans from different brands and so far the coffee made from this machine tastes great.

I just bought my amazing Jura Giga 5 from 1stinCoffee, an amazon reseller at: [...]. They also have a fantastic website at: [...]. I just wanted to tell you that they are simply terrific in terms of their customer service, helpfulness, and response. I will be ordering all of my future supplies with them. Plus, they offered much more for the same price in terms of the add-ons and accessories that you get with all of the other vendors, and I do my research. Here is my review of the Jura Giga 5 I just setup the the Jura Giga 5 with the basic milk cooler and cup warmer. My first thoughts are the it truly makes a perfect cup of coffee but it is expensive. I was very impressed, but here is my hopeful wish list: 1. Add user definable settings so I can get my preferred settings and others can have theirs. Basically, let me add my personal coffee profile. 2. I didn't know about the wireless option for the milk cooler at purchase or I would have bought that. Now I have to buy that accessory upgrade. 3. Add a reverse flush for the milk line to clear out the milk from the plastic tubing. 4. Display the water level in the UI or make the side water unit smoky transparent. Make an add-on water unit that is a bit larger. 5. Display the milk level and temperature if you use the wireless milk cooler. 6. Add wireless Internet and enable the device with an app that let's me monitor my coffee habits, and adjust all the settings remotely. Let me go to my Giga's web page settings like I can with my printer to program it. 7. Add USB port(s) so I can turn the LCD screen into a picture frame when it is idle. 8. Add a flavored syrup dispenser option for those that like caramel and mocha lattes and other drinks. Don't just display a menu with recipes in barista, if you select mocha, it should just be a push of a button. 9. Add nutritional information and integrate with all of the online calorie apps. 10. Add the ability to order or even auto-order more supplies online like filters, cleaning fluids, coffees, and other items online through the user interface. 11. Add social media options for sharing your coffee addictions, settings, etc. Make these profiles downloadable. 12. Sell accessories that let me add my reverse osmosis and drain line to the consumer line of products. 13. Put the power button to the milk cooler in front. 14. The temperature settings should be in degrees C/F and not low, medium, high. Further, the hottest coffee settings was not as hot as I like my morning coffee, especially if I add a tablespoon of refrigerated flavorings. 15. The volume of milk and froth should be in measurable weights like ounces or grams and not seconds, just like the adjustable coffee volume. 16. Since it has a speaker, allow me to record messages, play my music, and hook it into Spotify, Pandora, Tune-In, etc. 17. The color schemes are ok, but I want to customize them. Further, when you select the dial the options only stay for 5 seconds. Let me adjust that time. Also, make the menu disappear completely after a while and go to screensaver/picture mode. 18. Allow me to add my own uploadable and downloadable barista recipes and an option to share them with the Jura community. 19. Cleaning the front unit with the milk options is very complex. You have to take off the cover, remove lots of tiny rubber parts, rinse then over the sink and hope you don't drop one down the drain, and the put it all back together. With practice it takes me some time. If I lost a single part I am dead in the water. Either make the milk cleaning option perfect or make it easier to clean. 20. The unit sits in the kitchen under the cabinets and is a bit large and heavy. I have to slide it over on the the unwieldy rubber feet just to refill the coffee hopper. How about adding a wheel or an easier sliding option. 21. Make stackable milk coolers that allow me to have skim, vitamin D, or low fat hooked up to the same machine and based on user preference. 22. The power options are a bit wonky. Usually on any given wall we have two outlets. If you get the coffee warmer, milk cooler, and the Jura you have a need for three outlets. Why not allow the units to daisy chain their power so you plug one or additional accessories into the JURA. Finally, the power cord sticks straight out of the wall. You should provide the more flexible L power cord that is flush with the wall, and the one that allows you to rotate the cord so it doesn't interfere with other cords. I had to get add a power strip to plug everything in.

I love this machine Sure it's expensive, but since we got it, we've bought coffee at Starbucks about 1/10th the number of times

Amazing. I got a 4 year 4.25% apr loan on this baby. The coffee is amazing and it will only take 10 years to get my money back with the money it saves me on starbucks. My kid almost got a car, but as a family we decided on this instead. GREAT COFFEE!!

Wow, best machine ever!!!

Paired with the cold milk storage machine, this coffee machine is a dream. Like having Starbucks in my kitchen. But better!

This super automatic espresso machine is more than just another appliance, it's an investment in not just good coffee, but a machine that if maintained properly will last well over a decade. The Giga 5 is large for a home espresso unit, but it isn't unreasonable. Although it's size would really be the only concern I could have with it, once you use it for the first time and experience the ease of one touch coffee drinks, simple and automatic cleanup done by the machine, and the DELICIOUS coffee it makes, any complaints fade into the background. The coffee has a very exquisite crema and unlike cheaper super automatics it doesn't have as bitter or acidic a taste, it goes down very smooth. For example I am never one to drink black coffee but I've found myself doing that on occasion since I've purchased this machine. For milk based drinks you have milk being frothed twice in the machine, giving the foam a sort of 'durability' if you will, the foam doesn't fade away quickly which is nice if you're the type who takes the time to enjoy a latte. It holds a lot of beans and has a massive water container at 87OZ so for me I am spending little time refilling it. It only has a two year warranty, but it's made in Switzerland with the other high end Juras, and with proper maintenance and the rare part replacement, like I said before there's no reason this Jura Giga 5 can't last a long time. Cheers to all the good coffee!

This makes the best everything. I think it might even vacuum.

We absolutely love this machine! Almost feel like coffee snobs, but enjoy our coffee at home better than at the coffee shops!
